Our church has a prayer ministry comprised of a group of our members who pray daily for the concerns of our congregation? Intercessory prayer focuses on the needs and concerns of others and is a Biblical priority.

Philippians 4:6 says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”

There are two ways to submit a prayer request:

You may leave your request in the prayer box on the table in the lobby next to the sanctuary.

You may email or speak to any member of our group:

All prayer requests are kept confidential and it is not even necessary to give a name. We consider it an honor and privilege to come before Him on behalf of our congregation and community.

Lord, we lift up prayer for our country.

We ask that you would bless our country with your wisdom, your love, and your compassion. May we be a people who are pursuing you and your plans for us - individually and corporately.

Lord, we lift up prayer for our leaders.

Lord, we ask for blessings on our leaders. May these servants who are in positions of authority take that responsibility seriously and do their very best each day. May they realize their need for you and for your direction. May they hear your voice as they make their decisions, and may they follow your guidance. May they have a passion for people, for truth, and for righteousness.

Lord, we lift up prayer for our troops.

Lord, we ask for blessings on our service men and women. We ask protection for all our men and women in uniform both here and around the world. We are grateful for their service and their dedication to keeping our nation safe. We pray that you would keep them safe.

We thank you for our blessings of life and liberty. May our country continually show love and honor to you. May our dedication to you cause us to reach out to all the other nations and people groups with a strong desire for peace and harmony to be displayed whenever possible.

Lord, give us a strong sense of your spirit in our church.  Fill our hearts with all that you are and direct us in ways that we are always living in your will.   Bless us in our direction and point us toward how we can do more in you.

Lord, I ask that when people enter our church they feel you all around them.  I ask that we remain hospitable to each other and to outsiders, and I ask for your grace and forgiveness when we slip up.

Gracious God, who created all of humankind and showed to us the importance of relationships with one another, we commend to your care all the families of our community and our world. We pray that each home may be a home where love is felt. We pray for homes where, instead of love, hurt, abuse, and suffering abide. We pray for children, youth, and adults, recognizing the importance of and the gift of every age as we grow. May your grace be present to all. Grant us wisdom to know where there is no love, courage to act out of love for others, and peace to trust in your grace. Help us to live so that the commandments of love for you and love for others are shown in the ways we live together.

Lord, sometimes when I look in the mirror I’m not too happy with what I see. Please let me see me the way you made me, beautiful and perfect just as I am. Help me to hold this image in my mind and heart as I follow my life’s path. Allow others to witness your light shining through me as I walk with confidence, grace and a smile on my face.
